Today I am guesting over at Mamas Against Drama. As the name indicates, this is a very cool website where moms can feel totally comfortable speaking their truths without judgement. And that’s just what I did. We all like to think we are not the mean mommy in the group; I saw just how easy it is to go from nice to mean, in the time it takes to hail a New York City taxi cab. Let me know what you think.

They are all back in school, for now, for some days. Every September I have been excited, wistful as they left again with backpacks and lunches. After almost a year of uncertainty and struggling to varying degrees, I am a bit more detached than grateful, more numb than thoughtful. I know we will get better, get back, become more whole; but I find I need to acknowledge, on repeat, how surreal and scary and sad these many months have been. Forward is a good direction, and this simple routine is a step.Shabbat shalom. We are continuing to donate. Please donate if you are able to Feeding America, Feeding Texas, or any of the organizations helping Americans suffering in this crisis. 🙏🏼❤️ #shabbatshalomThis good boy. ❤️🐶 #bleu #nationalgoldenretrieverday #everydayreally-
